Default head gasket time!

so i know this has been covered soooo many times. but im still unsure of which one to use. i WAS considering o-ringing my block, but then decided against it. ive head many mixed reviews about using the stock vtec head gasket. as well as the g.e. and commetic head gasket. which do you think would best suit me? im ls-v turbo(450 hp) daily driven, moderately cooled through fans and a decent radiator etc. ive been told to run the multi layer hg or maybe a fireseal hg. but im not sure if there is one made for my application.

Most everyone will say to use oem hg. I've also heard of using the felpro mls from advanve auto. 3 layer and about $50

the OEM is a MLS gasket and is fine for 800+whp. if you are on a larger bore or running an LS vtec the GE gaskets are just machined oem gaskets and will work perfect for you.

any head gasket will work fine, just add a little bit of mega grey silicone on both sides and forget about the rest...

I'd use a GE headgasket as its an OEM bored over, as said above. Also, why did you opt out and not get the block o-ring ?

Arp headstuds which I'm sure you already have. Felpro hg and copper spray is what I use. Just be sure that the head and the deck are clean and flat.

it was a money issue, but i might just go ahead and do it for the fvck of it. they said if i did it, it would not hurt, or if i didnt, it still wouldnt affect it. kinda like a prefference thing i guess.
