Default Having the turbo timer...

My car seems to have a high countdown for letting the car cool before turning itself off. The lowest number I have seen it countdown from was about 48 seconds, is this normal? I have the Greddy timer, I am just still trying to get used to it and sometimes its painful having to wait for it to countdown all the way, especially if I want to get gas and Im sitting there idling, is it ok to just shut the power off in cases like that? Thanks, any feedback will help...

..letting a boosted car cool down before shutting it off is a good idea. 30-60secs. is optimal. you should be able to bypass the timer tho, but you'll have to ask some one with that particular model.

yah or i usually have been able to either turn the power off on the timer or put the countdown at the lowest setting to 10 secs.
