Default Has This Ever Happend To Your Injectors Before?

Installed a set of DSM blue tops the other day and couldn't figure out why one of them was leaking gas. I thought it was the seals, but its not I found out that it was the injector itself. Has this ever happend to anyone and what could be done to fix this or is this injector trashed?

It's leaking where I circled it. No matter how much I wipe that spot down it just drys up and then a second later it just gets all wet again.

I had a set of stock injectors on my 86 Accord leak right there. I ended up going the the junk yard to find another set. I guess thats what happens when they have 325k miles on them...

When I installed my first turbo kit one of my DSM blue top 450s (exact injectors in the pic) was leaking right there. I checked all the seals and still it appeared to be leaking from the actual injector.

Anyways, luckily my buddy had a few spare sets of injectors and gave me one. Switched it out and never had any more problems.

Just toss that one in the garbage and buy another. Luckily those injectors are cheap cheap cheap!!

I called my cousin and he had some laying around and I swapped mine with his and it went away. Yeah, I've never heard the injectors actually leaked themeselves, but I guess I do now.

DSM injectors are one of the 1st things a smart DSM owner (oxymoron?) does to increase reliability. They are inexpensive because they are known to break much more often then normal injectors should.
