Has this been done (plz look)?
ok guys i was thinking today. could u mount a t3 with like .58a/r AND a gt30 turbo. (just as an example) now the T3 would be the first turbo after the manifold, and the gt30 the second. now could u use a cheap RPM switch to switch turbos when u hit about 7 grand? like the T3 would be active up till 6 or 7 grand then the GT30 would take over cause it can produce boost way higher. could this be done with just normal wastegates. what would u need to stop one turbo from producing psi?

Just to be hypothetical, you'd need to remove the turbo, and re-plumb it so that it wasn't there if you want to stop it from working and allow the other one 2.
I think somebody's seen the dual-turbo funny car style Integra one to many times.
In other words, don't waste the time trying it unless you have lots of time and money.

See, money is inversely related to time. IF you have lots of money, the less time you need to figure it out. The less money you have the more time you must spend, make a decision. If you go with the latter, do mad research, come back knowing how the grains on a turbine for a turbo are most efficient. Make it so you can perfectly do it on paper then put it into practice with your car. But thats only if you have no money and a brain.

cool i live in kelowna BC
Now the only way ive seen this done is with hella money. most have enough trouble to run one turbo with fueling and you want 2?
you mount on where battery is in stock location and other where the exhaust manifold is now. get custom exhaust where 2 cylenders goes to one turbo and other two go to the other

Well, with enough time and friends (not really too bad on money) this wouldn't be toooo hard... Ok, think about this a turbo manifold but at the collector you put an "exhaust Y" in there if you will. Kind of like the summit open downpipe Y that they make only one isn't capped off it just has a throttle plate type of thing in the middle of the Y. I'll post a pic to kind of explain what I'm talking about...
Ok, the dotted line that closes off the Y would be where the throttle plate type or thing would pivot. Then you can buy a RPM or pressure switch (Which ever you prefer...) and you can have that setup. I don't know if this made sense but it made sense in my head when I wrote it. anyways hope this helps.

Re: Has this been done (20lb.teg)
OOOOOORRRRRR you could take a wastegate and make the exhaust gasses routed off of the wastegate turn another turbo so it would be like a twin turbo setup but the second turbo would only be active after a certain pressure. That would eliminate the Y and would be kinda hot!!!! I dunno. I think that system would work as long as you had a large enough diameter wastegate... so then it would be an actual twin turbo setup after the wastegate opened instead of a VTEC Turbo.. (small turbo till about 5k rpm then the big turbo after that...). Man the first setup I said (the one with the Y) would kind of be cool cuz you could have like a T3 for street driving but a huge t66 or so for like Racing use screw the dual charged (Super+turbo) this would be cool.

I would assume that would have to be one hell of an actuator to pivot a flange against exhaust pressure, not to mention electronics dont like heat. Heat=high resistance=not working.
Then again im a big dumb animal.

Ummm, well I see what you are talking about but I just don't think this would be something that I would really waste my time on honestly, you either want to go fast all the time or not.
