Re: haltech ex6 install (turboex)
I run an E6K on my B18C1, nice unit, good support from Haltech. Try the Haltech support board:

Im sorry to be a bit OT, but on your top mount manifold does it have enough room to run a decent intake pipe with a filter? My friend got a top mount from a guy and he had to make an extremely restrictive pipe for his filter since the distributor gets in the way.

Re: haltech ex6 install (GudeH23a)
Thanks for the input, Yeah im really interested in the haltech setup, Im just worried that the wiring will be more than i want to get into. Acording to there book theres not "too" mcuh to change. just new wiring for the major sensors. Im trying to find someone who has installed this setup and ask how there install went. Oh as for my turbo setup, well i wanted a full race manifold for the normal reasons, but my budget was just not there at the time. To bad for me. So i contacted a compan that was making custom top mount turbo manifolds for the usdm 240 motors. They sell them on ebay sometime, or thats where i found them. Its a log style. so I asked them if they would do a sr20det manifold, i hooked them up with a contact to a flange, and gave them some general dimensions on where I wanted the turbo to sit. And $300 later i had my manifold, jet coated and all. Its about as heavy as a drag manifold, and thick walled. heres some pics. The intake uses a 20 degreee bend infrom of the turbo just to clear the cas sensor. But i shall be pulling the whole maf setup real soon once i decide on the new ecu setup. Will look much cleaner then. heres pics. Oh the car does still have power steering I just had to relocate the tank to the firewall.

Haltech is an excellent system. Unless something has changed since I have been away: Haltech requires you to rewire the engine harness because it has it's own harness.
