yeah haltech would work fine it is a universal unit designed to be used with most fuel injection systems. You do realize that you will have to do all the wiring for it however since it is universal the connectors are not on the wiring harness. Also Zdyne has a stand alone for non-obd cars you send them your ecu and the modify it and send it back. However for the money that Zdyne costs I personally would do Haltech.

yeah i relixed the wiring the other day but i think it would be worth it in the long run. and its only a weekend fun car so im in no rush, i have to finish building th emotor and get the turbo **** first.......but thank you for your help

yeah you definitly will like it.
Just a suggestion too I would look into Accel DFI gen7 and how they work I know they are about 500 bucks more but with haltech being in Aus. it is hard to get support here in the states and the datalogging is not the greatest. But all in all I am happy with mine. If you know wiring somewhat its not that hard either.
