Default H23 with TD04/14B

Alright well I remember reading a post a few weeks ago about how the DSM Manifolds and the H23 Exhaust ports line up and can be used with minor modding.

I'm planning on turboing my car, just to add a little pep to it. I'm looking to break into the mid/high 13's and am looking to get around 250whp. Can this be done on a stock H23 with a 14B boosting 7psi?

I know a T3/T4 will get me to that goal easier. But I'm on a budget and would rather spend some of the money I save on the manifold and turbo for some extra dyno time.

For an H23, you might want someting that is a little bigger then a 14b.... Thats on the smaller side of turbos.

Ya I know that they are one of the smaller/est turbos out there, but I'm not looking for crazy numbers. And I figured that since some DSMs are able to break down into the 13's and such on it that it might meet the goals I have.

You can't think like that. The 4G63 has totally different engine characteristics than an H23. It doesn't matter that it is close to the same displacement. Look at head flow, volumetric efficiency, thermal dynamics, head flow etc. 14b is just too small for that application.
