h22a4 turbo
hello,
i recently swapped my h22a4 into my 90' civic hatch, and am looking into forced induction. I like the amount of tourque the H-series puts out and dont want to ruin it with a boat load of lag. I dont want to run more than 8 psi of boost because i know the newer h22 have weaker blocks (mine is out of a 99') or so i have been informed.. i was thinking of running a garrett GT2876R It has 48 compressor trim, .64 exhaust housing A/R, and the turbine 76 trim. now i have also read that divided turbine housing can eliminate lag more while getting away with larger A/R housing. Are these setups streetable? What about manifolds etc? I am new to the forced induction scene so bare with me. Anything you can add will be helpful thanks.
