h22 vafc hack setting questions

Default h22 vafc hack setting questions

i got a h22 with a drag turbo, dsm 450cc, on there with a vafc hack. is there anyone else with this setup? if so i was wondering what ur settings were. -40 all through isnt working for me, it runs really lean. so right now i have it at +30 at boost and at -37 at idle. it idles pretty rough and the revs fluxuate. but other than that car runs pretty decent. boost kicks in well, but could be better. only pushin about 7psi. any ideas would be great thanks!!

i seem to be the only one here thats at + here with the fuel. everyone else to be on negative. so a lil worried over here.

mine is set at: 1-4k -36 5k -37 6-7k -36 8k -35 u have to remmember every car is different. The best way to get it right is to take it to a dyno or get a wideband with an air and fuel guage hooked up. Also make sure ur sensor setting is at 6 in 6 out and the throttle% 98 lo 99 high.

Those are basically the same settings i was running... it ran like shyte... The default basemap that came with my Aem EMS that barely idles runs 10000x better then the hack ever did for me though...

Try and save up for some real engine management asap you'll be amazed at the difference..

thaks for sharing, i know everyone's setup is diffrent, i just thought it was extremly odd that i was in the + with fuel while everyone else is in the -. getting it tunded tomorrow anyway. more infor would be great. thanks

I had to run a +26 to keep my plugs from getting white too late though, already popped #'s 2 and 4.

If your running in the positive side of the correction, you should be throwing a map code when you hit boost. Do you have a check engine light?

Yep, also 6 check valves...lol. runs great, took down an auto C5 convertible WITH TWO BLOWN cylinders, both pushing under 100 psi compression Wish I had a video of the guys face...then his face dissappearing behind the clouds of blue smoke...lol

no check lights, me and my friend were also wondering why there isnt a cel for map.

high settings at:
1000 -40
1600 -35
2200 -35
2800 -32
3400 -32
4000 -32
4600 -32
5200 -34
5800 -34
6400 -39
7200 -39
7800 -39
throttle % is lo 5 hi 30
afr is 11.5
my setup is:
TO4E 60trim /T3 .63ar stage 3.
2.5"dp + exhaust
small pwr intercooler
stock fpr, fuel pump.
dsm450s, safc v2
