h22 v b18c1
I searched for both, couldnt find anything..
Sorry if this has been beaten to death but I'm not sure which one to do to a EG hatch. I heard that the h22 in the hatch runs really rough at idle.
H22A - (I'm sure you'll get a big debate on that engine) From what I've heard it makes a nice lil rice rocket, but.. if you retain your AC (which is a damn must in AZ) then you will have a pretty rough idle I've heard. But to get the swap done I've heard prices around 4k-5k to get it dropped in.
B18C1 - Good platform, 10:1 compression, but if you don't plan on boosting tons, just maybe 9-10 psi.. it'll do nicely as long as you tune it well. But, GSR engines are costly, getting a bit cheaper but still costly. I believe after you got this dropped in it would run you around 4-5k as well. Depends where you get it, you do it yourself, etc.
