I know somebody who is claiming 300whp. He is using a t3 with an "upgraded compressor wheel" at 10 psi on a stock d17 motor with 3" exhaust. Although details are lacking, is this possible?

edit: hes also running alcohal injecton. From my understanding at 10 psi that would result in a power loss.

I call SUPE DUPER BS. What does a stock D17 put out (that is current gen civic motor right??), maybe 100 to the wheels. No way you gonna bolt on 200HPfwhp with 10 psi and a 3in exhaust. I find that very hard to believe. I could just be a newb and not know ****. For example.....the RB20DE was rated at about 140hp to the flywheel. The RB20DET I had was rated at 214 @10psi. I could see maybe a 100hp bolt on, but 200fwhp.......that is stretching it...again I could be wrong but

 

he never specifically says the details... for all you know it could be running on nitro or funny fuel. (lately been reading about some pretty wild numbers on alternative fuels)

given it is not LIKELY anyone would do this (to a d17 none the less)... but possible.

you do not know enough information... hence why I say its "possible" (almost anything is possible with enough money) but not "probable" (or very likely in other words).

 

norcalcrx i think it was made 250whp @ 10psi on a greddy kit. on a stock d16z6. not saying he's not bs'ing but u never know. especially on a T3. u know what size T3?
