gunk between intake mani and head

gunk between intake mani and head
i was wondering, i just noticed gunk right between my intake manifold and my cylinder head. its like in there with my manifold gasket. does anyone know what this might be? well im not getting any erractic idle or anything, the car runs just fine. its a little gooey though! i just replaced that manifold gasket about 2k miles ago.
