if its 81mm u will most likely need more than 21 psi. on 10 psi on my 81mm LS/VTEC im making 366. i say about 24-26 psi will get u 500+hp. 84mm will most likely make 500+ on 20 psi.
what cam and eachuast setup r u runing?

should do it. i made 496whp @ 18psi on 93 octane. 592whp @ 22 psi on c16. i have a very similar setup; im 85mm bore, ctr cams, same intake mani. g'luck with doing it!
chromes all fine and dandy, but with the kind of build up, why wouldn't you use something better? I have no issues with chrome, but I always have used it with 300 hp or less cars.

81mm LS/VTEC with GT35R, 535-540 whp at 20 psi (low boost setting) on Torco 110.
I have the car in question strapped to the dyno five feet from me right now for a retune with a snowperformance alky/water injection kit. So far I've knocked off a 565 and a 554 at 20 psi (low boost setting) with alky/water, sitting here with my thumb up my *** while the boys swap out a bunk distributor, hoping to do a bit better.
FYI, the only real difference I see between this car and yours are the cams. This one has a set of Brian Crower's which are a noticeable difference over GSR/ITRs, and pretty much made the deal. Personally, if this were my own car, I'd run GSR/ITR cams and turn the boost up a couple more psi to make 550 and save a few bucks in the process. Do whatever you feel you must on your car.

pump gas, i think the bigger power one was 17psi
my personal 35r car made 555@18psi and 616@25psi. power went down with any more boost. .63 t3 with a hair of compression

sounds like you have higher compression w/ those numbers. what is your c/r? the highest dyno i have seen for a 35r (and im sure there are some higher #s somewhere) was at RLZ. a car made 651whp @ 27psi on stock fuel system and 1000cc injectors. still dont know how it did that. mine ran out of fuel at 22 psi. gota upgrade lines to go higher now

depends on how much timing you REALLY need to take out.

im at 9.0:! and i have the .82
I want 600 but im afraid im gonna run out of fuel up there also...
stock lines, walbro 255 and RC 1000's
made 442 on 91 octane creeping up to 20 psi...
just street tuning only, nothing touched for ignition... etc
only reving to 8200
84mm LS/Vtec

im only 8.8:1 ... it will be cutting it close. i rev to 9k right now. as for ignition, i know some people get stock ignition to support that power. mine wouldnt. but what was really cool is that i made 542 whp @ 21 psi and then 592 whp @ 22 psi with only the ignition change (MSD) do you have stock cams still? i swear by CTR cams. ive seen huge power gains. those arent the only ones though; to each his own. we have the same fuel set up, so it'll be close! unless your car is a freak. **** happens

im upgradeing the fuel system with -6 fuel lines and a bosci=h o44 pump in tank that will support we are hoping for about 600hp
as ignition we are going to try stock and if it starts to break up we will tighten the plug gap and if that doesnt happen then ill install the msd ignition in and go from their

Dont use Crome if you are gonna be daily driving it with big hp# or injectors. I to have a similar setup as yourself, t3/04 60trim 63a/r turbo, LsV, rods, pistions, IM, rc 1000cc injectors, duel valve train, b16 cams.
When I had my car dyno'ed tuned on Crome at shawn Church we were having trouble with getting it to run smooth. After a while of him being frustrated he plugged in his hondata s300 to make sure all the troubles were within the ecu. 5 pulls later we were doing 400hp making power to 8800rpms and their was still refining to do.... Back to the Crome and nothing but problems, it took like 10 or more pulls and more psi to just get to the 400hp mark and it would not rev. past 8000. It still dosent rev were I need it to and also dont idle like the hondata did eather. save up like im doing and get the hondata or AEM, I know their pricy for the wages$ most us Honda drivers are makes but it is WELL worth it in my opion.

Sounds like Shawn was unfamiliar/inexperienced with Crome. Frankly, the script setup for Crome is a messy clusterfuck; I found a good combo of scripts/version of Crome and refused to fool around with anything new for six months at a time because I liked **** that ran right and didn't make me look like an idiot.
The poor idle is - was - a common complaint. There are ways around it, but it was something you had to drop a minute on. Recent versions of Crome have good control of the IACV and is comparable to Hondata in terms of idle control.

i'll agree with the "off idle". when i was on crome, mine "loped". it wasnt a problem really, and never hurt anything. it sounds like a big *** cam was in it. never stalled or anything.
also ... did any of you crome guys have any problems with this: if you come out of boost hard and hit the break while going into neutral at the same time .... did the car die or almost die? it was like it wanted to stall when the rpm dropped that quickly. but it didnt do it all the time. anyhow, with hondata, that hasnt been an issue at all. also could have been some fuel differences from the tuner. just wondering what you guys thought ...?

same problem i had, i raised my resume idle and it helped a little.

ummm ok... what constitutes big power or big injectors?
Im daily driving my 1000's on my 84mm LS Vtec street tuned with crome... makin 442 on pump gas... and works great.....
Id say get a new tuner....
