Default GT2860RS with e85

Would there be any benefit to this on a street car? its a b18c. Im asking because Im about to buy injectors and needed to know if I should get biggers ones for e85 or smaller ones for 93 octane. I plan on maxing out the turbo.

Just get 1000cc injectors and be done with it.

I have no problem getting 1000cc but has anyone been able to squeeze a little more power out of a disco potatoe on E?

You can only push so much air with any given turbo

you might be able to squeeze a small amount more since e85 slightly bumps the compression up and allows more timing

I wont think itll be crazy amounts tho

What ems you running tho?

That turbo won't perform much differently than on 93 octane. You might be able to run more timing in places with E85 or 93 with water/meth injection but you will easily reach the limits of that turbo on 93 octane.

Agreed. ID1000s are great injectors. As far as E85 vs gas with that turbo it really isn't worth the trouble for an E85 build unless you plan on going bigger in the future. I was nearly maxed out running a disco potato on my built SOHC using straight 93 Pump and 750cc injectors a while back.

Is 10.5:1 ok to max out the turbo on 93?

Do you already have the turbo?

Might want to look into upgrading the comp wheel, but that will still run you several hundred dollars...

No I didnt buy it yet. But Im looking for response more than top end. And from what I have seen there seems to be no other turbo that provides this kind of response it being a 35 lb per min wheel and all.

You won't make 350 though. Remember that's basically rated at crank power. You might get 220-230whp out of it at most.

Are you sure? A few people here have made 350whp and I think rcmacdaniels made 380. Either way a 35 lb a min turbo should make at least 300whp

320whp is the limit at just a bit over 20psi at the outer edge of efficiency range, regardless of intercooler... Anything else is reading high on a dyno.

Turbine wheel is what makes the top end power. Compressor wheel affects boost threshold behaviour.
