Default gsr question

I have a gsr usdm. Now her e is my question I have a set if b16 eagke pistons and a b20b crank sitting in my shop I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to put a b20 crank with b16 rods and gsr pistons the r/s will be a little over 1.50. The reason I am asking this is I am going to be turboing it and instead of putting a commetic or inline pro 3mm gasket to lower cr to add more boost I was just seeing if doing this setup would be sufficient. Any help will be appreciated thanks

B20 crank = LS crank. B16 rods won't fit a ls crank

Is it the width of the rod or the size of the big end of the rod

What does it matter? It doesn't fit. I also want to see how you get those pistons on Eagle rods.

Ok if that wont work then how about a gsr crank with b16 rod and high compression rods so then cr will be close to 9::1

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Use this.

BTW you actually have to know what you're doing to use it if you try to use the advanced calculator.

What I want to do is lower compression by putting a shorter rod kind of as if I was going to put a 3mm inline pro head gasket because I have a b20 b18c1 and a b16a2 blocks sitting in my shop as we speak but the b16 has eagle rods in it and I was going to try and use them but if I cant I cant ill just try selling them and buy h beam gsr rods for my turbo build with a cometic head gasket. Oh yeah the reason for the lower cr is for more boost. I just thought it might work but oh well thats why I asked

You don't need lower compression for more boost. How much power are you looking to make ?

I have decide to just stick to my b18c1 with all gsr part either eom or aftermarket.
. Gsr block 81.5
. Gsr head pnp
. Gsr cams with aem gears
. Gsr stock crank
. Gsr eagle h beam rods (unless yall think oem instead for now atleast)
. Gsr 81.5 pistons
. Acl race bearings
. Arp head studs
Garret gt3071r turbo
My olan is to run this setup for awhile till I get either this block sleeved or my b20 sleeved not sure yet
I am going to sell the rods from the b16 and a few other stuff to get the money for the build plus what I have saved. Thanks guys for all your info good or bad.

You dont want to play mix and match with factory parts if going turbo.
You want forged pistons and rods, proper sizes, any compression you want.
