Default GSR NOS plate Question..HELP????

GSR NOS plate system HELP Edit Reply

OK. I have a 98 GSR with the NOS plate system for my car and I am having major issues with this system.First off my motor has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom. JE 11-1 pistons,Eagle rods,Crower403's,Crower springs &retainer's,Stage 6 p/p on the head, bored 20 over,ARP bolts& studs,RC310's,AEM fuelrail & CAI,Hondata ECU,MSD ignition system. Like I said completly rebuilt.
The problem is if I jet it for what NOS says I don't come close to the HP that they say I should get. I have been on the dyno for over 5 hours and still can't get this right and I have tried everything and still can't make good HP #'s. Right now I have the NOS jetted for the 125 shot, which is like a 42 jet, and the fuel jetted for a 50 shot, which is like a 20 jet, and my A/f is right at 10-1 and I am only putting 73 HP to the ground. I tried jetting it for the 175 shot and just lost HP from weird a$$ jettings I have in there right now. If I jet it for what NOS suggest then I totally lose HP from what I have it at already. Just for the hell of it we tried a NOS jetting of a 56, which is like a 225 shot of NOS, and the fuel jetting for the 175 HP setting. The car ran great until about 7K the rpms slowed a little and then a huge backfire. The car still ran fine when I got off the NOS and it is still running fine as of now. The result of that test was a toasted #1 sparkplug. Here's the wierd thing ok, We looked at the dyno for the HP ratings and I only made 9 HP more then when I ran my orginal setting of the 125 NOS jets and 50 shot fuel jets. So I had only made 82 Hp to the ground with that set-up before it blew the #1 spark plug. The A/F was perfect 10-1 all the way across the board.
So what do you guys think. I need help. My next plan of attack is to go with my stock cams and see what happens. . If that don't work then I am going to install a nozzle for te fuel/NOS in the CAI to see if that works. I DONT KNOW>> Also I did dial out the overlap on the Crower's on this last dyno. So I dont think that the overlap issue was an issue, but I might be wrong. HELP>>>>
