could u use 2 1/4 inch piping with a 2 1/2 exhaust on a gsr on boost.
im only going ot u se it like that for a weekor 2.

Yeah it would work but it would choke off your setup significantly. I don't really see the point of fabbing it up. If you are only going to use it for a week or two, why not just run the bitch open downpipe until you get that 3 inch exhaust made?! Be cost effective! Just my $.02

For a week or two, i think i'd rather deal with the noise rather than spending money for an exhaust that's virtually useless. I ran open dp on my first setup for like 3 weeks and on my second setup for another 2 weeks....eventually you just get used to it.

Save your money and get 3" the first time....
