Default GSR block for boost?

Hi, I am new to honda-tech. I have a 94 GSR and I am about to start my turbo project. I have looked at everything from leaving the motor stock to a full eagle rotating assembly. I read that a stock b18c can handle up to about 300whp, but I couldn't find anything about how reliable they are. Anyway I wanted to know if there is anybody out there running a turbocharged b18c that would like to give some info on what works well, and what doesn't? My goal 350whp+ so I am going to need to build the motor. Thanks for any help or info you can provide.

get some experience before you start spending money. The key to any setup you make is going to be tuning. stock b18c's can handle well over 300whp if tuned correctly which means tuner expense + ems(hondata, AEM, neptune, crome, uberdata etc.) ever driven in a 350whp FWD? its pretty rediculous as far as tracting goes. If you were ot buy a full eagle setup you are buying something made for around 500-800whp. so yes it will fullfill your needs but may be a waste of money. Their are posts in this forum for stock b18c's, there setups, and power outputs. If you want around 350, just get the right turbo, great ****** tuner, 3-3.5 exhaust and call it a day.

EDIT: o and some rubbery ****** tires.

Thanks for your input. I have experience building other japanese motors and a lot of deisel motors, but I have never built a honda motor before. The car already has AEM ems and tuning is not a problem. The motor has 130,000 miles on it which is why I am going to rebuild it, I assume that most people who run them stock have low mileage engines. I am willing to spend some money on things like forged low compression piston, rods, a block guard, and a good turbo head gasket because I'd rather be safe than sorry.
