Does anyone have a pics of a type 24 on a Gsr with the bumper on and off? Im trying to get an idea of how good it fits and how much I have to take off, like the bumper support which I know I have to take off.

Not a GSR, but thought it might help. Here's a pic of the Type 24 on my car. The intercooler fits very well but i had to cut a good chunk out of the bumper support to fit it with the intercooler.

 

Holy ****, I had no idea!! BTW, where is your bumper support? Looks good man, I think I need to change my pants. Im sorry I just really excited over stuff like this...LOL

that intercooler is huge !!!

 

The bumper support goes over the upper 1/3 of the intercooler. It's a fairly similiar fit on a GSR. It's a really nice peice w/ very good welds. What i had to do to keep the bumper support was to take a torch and cut out a rectangle about 2 inches deep. The bumper support is still pretty stout even with that much taken out of it and keeps the front end a little bit more stable. I'll take some core measurements and snap a pic with the bumper support later for you Art. Bye the way, just wanted to let you know i finally got the car dynoed.

Art yeah thats a pix of my car.....the greddy type 24 is so freking beautiful. Like you were saying about greddy turbo kits, they are very precise. "true bolt on" If you buy just the IC, it will also come with piping!!!
As far as the bumper is concerned, you dont have to cut that much off to make it fit. I didnt want to cut my whole front grill out so i just trimmed around the corneres.
I'll try to get some pic....have to borrow my friends digi cam.

if thats the 24 IC, what do I have? its from a 96 GSR turbo kit and it fits on my civic without any bumper support mods.

 

im not sure...i didnt think they made kits for cars older than 98 integras.

Around here, I've met two other Elton's. One at the bank, and the other at the Honda dealer. Wierd. I didn't know that many of us existed.
