you would have to tap into the cars wiring harness. there is no plug and play for this unit in your car. honestly though, f the timer, just wait for the car to cool down before you shut it off. do you want to walk away from your car with it still running? because it's a pain in the *** to get a timer to work with an alarm.

I had the greddy timer in my 98 gsr for about a month, it works great but you don’t need it. Spend the money elsewhere, like on parts that make you go faster.

ok good to know that there is no harness.

i undedrstand your concern about leaving the car but this is my 2nd car and i only drive it to work (my business) in which i have my own parking space on the side of the building being watched by my security camera and home.

to install it with an alarm, you have to splice more wires and mess with the shock sensor correct?

alarm/remote starts commonly have an option called "Run time (Timer mode)" it selects the time in minutes that the system will operate the engine until the system times out. they should have different selections like 1 mins, 3 mins, 5 mins. ive never done this but i do want to try it.

i somehow set mine up so i could arm the alarm with the timer running the car, then when the timer stoped the engine, the alarm woud disarm for 10 seconds, then re-arm itself. this was years ago. greddy timer and a dei alarm. now i never drive the car if i'm going to park it somewhere other than my garage.
