greddy turbo timer

i have a greddy turbo timer . and iwas wondering to to install it and i have a 96 d16y7 engine ???

it says connect the purple wire to the speed on the ecu. what color is the speed wire on the ecu?????????

I did look it up and it show meeh nothing and my friend say hook it up to tha rpm and tha other 1 ground and it dosent work
