It's usually over the 2500 RPM mark, but it can be lowered by using a different blow-off valve.

I think he's asking at what rpm does the turbo spool (ie, produce power). Anyone know if it pulls all the way to redline?

I do not see what that has to do with a BOV.

It has nothing to do with a BOV??? I've seen the greddy kit reach full boost by 3500rpms on a GSR, that was with a Stock kit and Greddy PE exhaust. Oh yeah also the greddy kit will always run out of steam before it makes it to redline in a B series engine.

I just put one on my civic (same d16 motor). Boost peaks at 2psi higher than it holds, I think because I need a clutch. But the kit should hold boost til redline....I don't know why it wouldn't. But if I'm wrong, someone help out and correct me.

BTW I kept up with a stock 96-98 mustang gt til the end of second gear (traffic.....at 5psi peak and 3psi hold). I know, I know, it was the slower gt's of recent mustangs but still......no more super slow civic
Before turbo stayed even with a G2 rs or gs integra (at least I/E) til 110
After turbo....different G2 rs/gs (probably stock)....numerous carlengths at the end of second.

Wow!! thats pretty good to be able to keep up with a stang. My car is an 89 dx hatch with the d16z6 swap hit 15.9 without turbo. Looking maybe for some low 14's or high 13's.

Yeah, not too bad. Since then I've upped the boost to 6.5 peak and 4.5 hold.....also gutted the cat. Spool-up is noticeably quicker from the open cat...and the 1.5 psi more feels a lot better than 3psi
