Greddy Kit Safe?
I know you guys must get hundreds of questions like this, but a search didn't really give me a concrete answer. Simple question, really...
I have a 97 EX w/ 70k miles. I want to turbo it to get a BIT more power (I'm not racing it, just 4-5lbs boost to get me another 40ish horses), and NOT have it blow up.
I'm looking at a Greddy kit, plus turbo timer and blow off valve. Will that do it?

Like I just said in another post, my odometer now reads over 180k, and I've been boosted for 9 months now. The stock greddy kit is great for reliability. Other than the kit and BOV, I'd look into an intercooler. A lot of guys use the side mount from a DSM.
The kit is actually used. My brother had it on his 98 ex coupe for about a year. He got rid of the car and I got the turbo. I've had the kit on my car for 9 months now. I use 93 octane. Whenever I can, I'll go to sunoco and get the 94.
Thanks .. one other question. Does the return piping that comes with the Greddy kit have a fixture to attach a BOV? Or do you have to buy a new section of piping when you buy the BOV?
You don't have to buy a new section of the piping. You need to have a flange for the BOV welded into the pipe. There is numerous threads, ideas, opinions, etc. on the best location of the BOV. You can see where I have mine.
