Default Greddy Kit

I read a write-up recently on a B16a Greddy kit that added 43 hp. To me, that seems kinda small. Is this to keep it smog legal? They said that the kit was. Is it b/c it's at low boost and could be cranked up a notch to higher psi w/o external addtions. Btw, I'd use an intercooler with it from the get go.

That's only at 5 psi or so, you need to up the boost to see real power gains.

but my point is... is the Greddy kit capable with some tuning and the boost set a little higher, will the Greddy kit push 1 BAR (if I built the block a bit)

Yes. But you can run a T3/T4 at 8 psi and get the same amount of power as the small greddy turbo at 15 psi.

Apparently I need to do more research b/c I thought psi was psi and only delivery rpms (lag and what not) and overall capacity were the major differences.

I know that turbos have many different set-ups and variations but they are fundamentally the same, please no flaming.
