Greddy downpipe problem.
what's up guys. i have a greddy downpipe problem.
i have a 99LS and i put a GSR greddy kit on it. the only problem i have with the kit is that the downpipe doesn't reach where my cat is. there's like a 3-4 inch gap. I temp fixed the problem by putting a custom piping in there, but i want to make it one whole piece. I was wondering if that problem occured just because of the GSR and LS exhaust piping legnths.
If you tell me to make a custom downpipe then my next question would be, do all exhaust shop have the flange that greddy downpipes use? if i were to make a custom DP i want to get a 2.5 one. what would be involved in this? thanks.

Why not just get the DP extended? May as well go for a 2.5" upgrade with a flex pipe and bypass the cat altogether.
