GReddy Blue Box with any setup??
Okay right now im piecing together my mini me / turbo setup. Right now i have:
d16z6 Head
d16z6 Tranny
d16y7 Block
P28 OBD1 ECU
Skunk2 Jumper
Exedy Stg. 1 Clutch
GReddy blue box
Various other parts.....
going in a 99 Hatch
anyways what im wanting to know is if i can use the GReddy Blue Box that is for a 92-95 civic turbo kit on my own custom turbo kit?? im going to be using a Super 60 T3 turbo at 6psi until i can get my bottom end built and some real engine management. I just want to know if its okay to use the blue box with that setup for a short while (6 months)???
thanks
chris

basically it just maxes out the stock injectors under boost...so yes, it should work with your setup.
My friend and I did a similar setup using the blue box and P28- although his was purely obd1 (no conv harness). Been working fine with stock injectors/pump. About to go to Uberdata though.
so do you think that the fact that i have an OBD2 car matters since i'll be running an obd1 ecu?? my buddy had a greddy kit on his 00 hatch and he blew it up twice but, i think that was due to it spiking. my other buddy with an obd1 z6 in his 98 hatch has the kit from the guy with the 00 and he hasnt had any problems. he also runs 8.3's in the 1/8th at 6psi. im only gonna be using the blue box temporarily so i hope it i'll be okay.
