okay, thanks everyone for the help. one last question, lol. what would you say would be max WHP you would go without an LSD?

Infinite. Ok maybe 1200whp after that the car will be uncontrollable.

okay. seems a bit un realistic. i'm gonna say anymore than 350 whp and you would NEED an lsd. am i correct?

If you want. Many people drive without them, but they may not drive like the way you do.

a lsd doesnt matter, unless your planning on just road racing or just drag racing then it doesnt matter, i mean it would help but im cutting 1.730 60 ft's with a open diff and i will get it in the 1.6's so dont worry about that right now, just get your car put together and get it tuned and see where you end up and go from there

exactly what plan is. get it together and see how it runs. if it's bad i'll get an lsd if not well perfect. since i'm replacing valve springs and retainers does the engine need to be drove easy for first little while? once engine is running its basically going to get tuned.
