Default grade my sleeper project

hey guys, im about to start the car project over again and go for big hp. before doing so, id like to see peoples comments on my current car.

its a 93 LX automatic. d16z6 swap using p28 and AFC. the WHOLE goal was to keep the car as low key as possible. the ONLY visable mod inside the car is the steering mounted boost gauge.

JRC 6" V2 frount mount

full 3" exhaust

center console upgrade

turbo timer and AFC hidden at all times

only visible mod inside the car

old pic (has a Type S BOV now, and painted valve cover (black).

full 3" exhaust (HKS rx7 muffler) with 3" Ecut out. exhaust is SUPER quiet

interior

so what do you guys think? its now going to have a fully built b-series.

shout out to TD16.com and slowmotion motorsports

Definately a nice sleeper man, not a lot of people would see that one coming.

I'd keep the boost guage but lose the clears, nobody will ever think it's fast. I love sleepers.

Looks pretty good, the clear corners and tails should go though imo. Not to say that I would expect it to be fast necessarily, but I would notice that it isn't stock. When I turbo my sohc I plan to recirculate the BOV back into the intake to keep it a bit more sleeper (quiets it down). I might even dynamat the hood so you can't hear any spooling or blow-off. Don't know how effective it will be but it might help me catch someone off guard I think.

I went from a 3 in side pipe, right in front of the rear tire. Now i finished off the exhuast with a muffler, all 3 in, lost a noticeable amount of power. However, i can drive the car without being super annoyed with the noise. So, yeah if your running a muffler, i would say there is.

It's got to be a 14b or another small turbo. What other turbo can spool 19psi by 4000RPMs on a SOHC?

the turbo is a T25 ported to hell and back

the exhaust cost about 60.00 (muffler was free). the cut out helps the spool (ha, brake boost and small turbo, faster spool than that?)

the trans holds the boost, but during shifting it slips like a ****.

the trans its self is stock minus it has a very large trans cooler.

car is very fun, brake boost @ the line is fun as well. it hooks up every time. here is a video of me vs a big block
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ53kxFkby8

the new setup is a 5speed b18c dart sleeves, cp pistons, manley rods. fully built head and going with s300 and a gt30r

edit: btw people at the track were laughing at my civic vs the muscle. at the end (not on this clip) a little boy says "dad, that honda just beat the chevelle" it made me grin

loving the sleeper look but the only thing that bugs me is you can go fast in a straight line, but what happens when you hit a turn??? hope your answer is "slow the expletive down!!" cause you arent gunna hold through one.
