Its not everyday something this cool comes around. I just finished up the tune on this car last night.
1928 "T" Roadster. 383 SBC with an 871 blower shop roots blower using a RetrotekSpeed EFI kit. Everything is polished on this car by my buddy Jim at J&S polishing here in Colorado Springs. Its beautiful.

We couldn't get a solid dyno graph because it was driving through the converter, but its definitely making some power. The car wanted to climb off the dyno even with 4 straps... and the throttle response is insane. 2100lb car with probably 600rwhp uncorrected with no top = a scary streetrod! The owner gave me a ride around the block afterwards, 1928 blown small block on EFI is definitely a cool way to go

I'm definately showing my grandpa this the next chance I get. He was all into the old cars back in the day, racing at the oval all the time, etc. He always tells me about the cool stuff he did, obviously with carbs...mostly.
I can't wait to get a 'real' job, Megasquirt is calling my '67 Firebird's name...
BTW what trans is he using? There's been a few options for glides, 350's and 400's as far as lock-up converters. If he has the cash to get this far, I'd expect a temporary lock-up solution for just the dyno wouldn't be an issue...

That's the idea the company is going for, it seems to be designed for old carb guys to be able to put the whole kit on to convert to EFI while still running with the look of the carbs.

The injectors are kid underneath, and there's a throttle plate in each runner.
Oh, and the tranny is a built th400 with a tiny converter.

I Love late 20's early 30's ford roadsters and coupes. Even with a near stock 350 crate motor that thing would fly. I can't imagine what that crazy *** motor would do in that thing.
you know, i can appreciate a nice car, no matter the make or platform, but for some reason these things dont do anything for me.
Must be sick fast no matter what way u look at it though,
