Got room?
I just finished installing a 95 Civic CX radiator into my 87 CRX Si to help make some room for a big turbo/intercooler. Check out what a difference the half-sized radiator made! Who says that 1st gen CRX's have small engine bays?

Let me get this straight...your going to be putting on a turbo and you downsized your radiator, as a result decreasing your cooling abilities. Unless the smaller radiator is much more effecient then I think thats a big mistake. You need to upgrade your radiator when you go turbo not downsize!

The newer CX radiator is definitely a lot more efficient than that old school CRX radiator. My buddy was using this CX rad in his CX hatch with a mildly modded B18C1 and never had any trouble.
If I have any trouble, I'll have to get something with a thicker core. I just need something that isn't as wide as the stock one.

I know a guy that did this same thing so he could fit a T4. he has a b12c block with b16 head and boosting at 12 psi. He has no problems here in the vegas heat. It works well just make sure you have a resivour.

BTW-I assume that you meant B18C block?

Looks good! I was going to go the same way with my MK2 until i realised that the civic radiator is about 1" too high

Not fair, you folks with MK1 rexes can fit intercoolers and turbo's easily, i just had to chop the front end of my MK2 apart to plumb in an intercooler.

Thanks for posting this. I have an 86 crx si that I just put a b16 into. Next summer it gets a turbo so I will definetely need a half sized radiator so I can fit a damn manifold in there.
