got my crank back from being ground down....
Well I got my crank back today... I had previously spun a bearing and one of the journals was 11 thousandths under.
When I dropped it off, the owner of the shop told me he would grind it down 20 thousandths under, and order me 20 over bearings
I used my mic today and took some quick measurements. On all of the rod journals, I measured .0295" under. On the reciept, it shows '.75mm rod journals'. .75mm is right on the dot, .0295".
My question is:
I thought ACL only made 20 over bearings? Do they make 25 or 30? Am I missing something stupid in my calculations?
Ill be plastiguaging everything within the next week, just thought I would ask here first.
Thanks!
