Got my car dynoed this weekend
While in Tampa this weekend I decided to take my car to John's (VaporTrail) Secret Services to have it dynoed. My setup is
Stock D16Y8
SFP log Manifold and downpipe
Garrett T3 60 trim .60 a/r compressor, .48 a/r turbine
Tial wastegate @ 6psi
2.5" downpipe, stock cat, and 2.5" catback
AFC hack w/ stock timing
I arrived at Secret Services with Charles (HondaDriven) on Friday afternoon, debating with myself whether to just do baseline runs or have the afc hack tuned. I decided that until i get a testpipe and boost controller I'd just do the baseline runs but with an a/f readout just to make sure it wasn't leaning out any. John and Taylor strapped the car on the dyno within a couple minutes and started the runs. Here's the dyno graph.
John picked up 5whp and about 2 ft-lb above the base run by just straightening out the a/f a little. I'm pretty surprised it put out that much power. I was expecting more in the 145-150whp range. Thanks a lot John.
I will have vids of the runs later if anyone else is a video ***** like me.
CLIFFS: Dynoed the car, it made 160whp and 138 ft-lb base run, then 165whp and 140 ft-lb. Surprised I made that power. Vids coming soon.

Re: Got my car dynoed this weekend (VaporTrail)
Thanks all. Yes, I'm very pleased with the results for how the setup is now. I'm hoping to get my testpipe, clutch, and at least a mbc by the end of the year.
Haha, ya I didn't really mention who I was other than mark and charles' friend. Thanks again John, I'll be back up there hopefully by the end of the year to tune it at a higher boost level next time
Hey, you didn't tell me thats who you were!
Glad you enjoyed your results, your car just needs more boost now

Re: Got my car dynoed this weekend (superduperman)
Is this turbo smllaer than the T3/T04B?
compressor is a 60 trim, .60 a/r
turbine is a .48 a/r and I THINK Stage I wheel
it's a used turbo off a Ford SHO
