extremely suprised was i when i pulled a 266 on the first run. drag 3, only 5 pounds of boost and stock jdm gsr. motorsports techniques put the kit on for me and i got it out on friday.

rob at all motorsports is getting me the link system with 310 injectors for 1200 and he said he should get it to pull at least 280.

anyways thanks for all the help on my questions and all the other bs that went along with it.

Wow... that's really impressive at only five pounds of boost? How much did it cost for them to install your turbo and how long did it take???

Are you sure that isn't corrected? Those hp numbers seem way high for 5psi, what other mods?

Also, making 280 at the wheels will be more than 300hp at the crank (more like 310hp, maybe) and to do so will require 450cc (447cc/min or so) injectors at a 90% duty cycle and 60psi fuel pressure...unless you are running an FMU (but, why with the Link?) the 310's will not cut it at all...check it out if you don't believe...

go with larger injectors...like 440's...u'll be maxing out those 310's in no time...
thank me later...

yup, ur motor would be a pile of molten metal if you're not running a fairly high fuel pressure with that small of an injector. i was going lean pushing 230 hp on a 1.6L with 320 cc/min injectors. but stock fuel pressure.

ion four corrected horsepower numbers can work either way high or low depending on the temperature outside and humdidty and ambient temps etc etc. If it is real cold you may have 266whp Actual but once corrected may be 252whp just an example of course. then if it's middle of summer and real hot an humdi same 266whp may correct to 280whp, just examples though. HTH Dynojets are great that they have a correction factor so if you dyno in VA then TX should be the same, but keep in mind engine temps are not corrected for, you can gain hp just by letting the car cool for 15 minutes after you''e been tuning for awhile and had alot of hard runs on it. I live at my local dyno.
