Good turbo mufflers?
I just got done putting 3 inch exhaust on my turbo del sol. It's full 3 inch with a 30" resonator...basically it's the loudest thing I've ever experienced. So, does anyone know of any 3 inch (inner diameter) mufflers that can REALLY do it's job? prefferably one with a removabe silencer. I need this thing to get alot quieter or I'll be getting weekly tickets. thanks.

Or you could spend well under 200 and get a 3" dynomax or magnaflow that will actually quiet it down quite a bit compared to an N1 or any other srtaight through 'race' muffler.

Yeah right, genius. Throw your money away. Not everything is worth
the high price tag. ie. Endyn's breather kit. Same functionality can be had at a fraction of the cost.
But then again with out people like you companies wouldn't stay in business.
N1 "STYLE" 3 inch muffler with removable silencer, $50.

for those of you who agree the N1 is the best...would you guys recommend the:
1 muffler
2 axle back
3 cat-back
4 muffler w/ custom axle back
5 muffler w/ custom cat back
Thanks

I would say go with Apex'i N1 with custom axle back piping ... unless your trying to race every day .. dont get the full cat back .. it might be a little loud ..

Re: Good turbo mufflers? (SAMIboarder)
You may want to try a Warlock "bypass" 3" muffler. For regular driving, it goes through the muffler silencer, for racing, there is a plate (like an e-cutout) that can be removed for straight through exhaust. It's like 70 at Summit.

Thermals are notoriously loud. I have on on my 94 coupe and sounds hella good at the low end, but man anything over 4500 and it really starts to scream. I love mine.
