Default Going turbo need some advice

I plan on going turbo in the Summer if all goes well. My turbo setup will be custom fab. mostly, no kits or anything. I was wondering who else has done it this way and if they thought it was worth it to go custom fob. or just buy a kit. Most of the stuff i have waiting for me like turbo, FMIC, etc. and parts are at cost. The only thing im not sure about really is the piping. I know they say to go mandrel bent, but what size for it? Just really need some advice on some mistakes people had made or things they would do diff. if possible.

Thanks for the help, Chris

I would suggest 3 inch piping or 2.5

Use like 2.5 for the intercooler and such
and then go with 3 for the downpipe, cat, and exhaust..

hope that helps....it won't sound like poop with 3" though, turbos keep things nice and quiet

If you want air conditioning go with a 2.5'' downpipe, there is no 3'' downpipe that will clear the preludes ac.

Revhard and max rev both offer nice manifolds for the H22a4.

I'd also like to know about the manifolds; i got a local shop that will make me one for 350 including a very good cond. T3. I wouldn't really want ultra high performance, just one that will do the job decently. Think it'll work well?
