going turbo
i'm looking into buying a turbo system. i'm new to fi. i'm looking for a website to buy a nice turbo setup for a low price. any help would be greatly appreciated.

well, not really. my setup so far is well under 2,000. t3/t04e, .63 57 trim, sfp ic piping. drag 3 intercooler, blitz dd bov, all couplers and clamps, 38mm tial anodized red (30 bucks BRAND NEW) bailhatch ceramic coated mani. DSM450's, custom 3' dp and dump tube and a couple other things. You can do it for around 2k, maybe a tad bit over (2-300) You just have to find the deals and things that are on sale.

i can go up to $3,000 for everything. i have a 92 civic cx with 2nd gen b16a. do you know of any good write ups on home made turbo setups?

yea, just shop around for deals. If you talk to bailhatch, he can hook you up with a nice manifold for about 300 bucks

its all about personal preference, just dont run a vafc.

to route the exhaust gases from the wastegate out of the engine bay, if you dont have one, then youre gonna have a sooty black mess under your hood

No matter if you buy it premade you still have to do some customizing for everything to fit right...

custom generally costs less. you could buy all of the bends yourself,cut them then take them to a muffler shop or someone and have them weld them.

yea, CivicEj1 is right. i bought mine premade, but only because i got a deal. They came off of the same year and model car, so i know they'll fit.
