Default Godzilla Sleeves???

When you send your block to GE for sleeves is this what they give you? If not what is the difference? Anyone have any pics of them to compare?

When I hd my block done (Nov/02) they said they no longer offer the non-Godzilla sleeve (since there minimal difference in cost...no one was getting them).

Let me know if they've gone back to them.

I just got a quote from them on a number of things for them to do including sleeves. They automatically listed Godzilla sleeves on my written quote. I guess this means that is all they have now. Oh well, it sounds cool to say you have "GODZILLA" (ground shakes) sleeves.

We almost always suggest going with the GOLDZILLA sleeve. We do offer some less expensive sleeves for the B-series motors that go up to 85 mm and do not have top support. They are called ECONO sleeves. If you want more info, please call us at (909) 592 - 4311 . Hope this helps!

GE told me it wasn't possible for them to drop because of their design.

We press the sleeves in and set them in the block under 15 - 18 tons of pressure on a special jig. Now look at the drawing I made, how is the sleeve going to drop??? It won't, It can't!!!! We guarantee it!!!

I have seen people post about someone's sleeves dropping but never their own sleeves. Also they never provided any proof of this
