GM's 3bar map has been replaced?

GM's 3bar map has been replaced?
So I ordered the 16040749 3-bar from GMpartsdirect.com...I got my sensor...and the p/n is 12223861....i wrote to them to ask what happened to the 160's and they said:
GM no longer produces that sensor under that part number. The 16040749 has been replaced by the 12223861.
Thank you, GMPartsDirect.com
so now my question is, is anyone using the 1222 with no problems? Or should I just return it anyway and try to find a 160 sensor?

I might be able to get you guys a hookup on the MSD one. Send me an email if you are sure you want one and what the best price is you've seen so far so I can talk to some suppliers.

How does $46 shipped via 1st class sound? That's just a couple bucks over cost. I was told that they might not be available even though Summit had them listed on their site but once we get enough interest we'll finalize things. Need 5 or more people for this deal.
Remember, this is the hook up, I'm making enough to pay for bubble envelopes, shipping, and a little gas on this deal.

ahh so many choices
i just went w/ the GM since everyone seems to be using it, and since Hondata mentions it on their site
All i wanted was the right part numbered sensor so i can boost more
damn gm parts direct.
autoex, when do u plan on trying it out? i think I'm going to try this weekend

If your using hondata, it only supports the 3bar map sensor. Using the 3.5 bar map sensor will cause your maps to go all wacky.

No one wants to use the Calveco sensor? 3.5bar map sensor is superior to the GM 3 bar.
Sorry, bro, just busting your onions If this Calveco sensor is affordably priced, I don't see any real reason not to run it.

Damn I just ordered one from gmpartsdirect, that and a boost control solonoid and pigtails for both. I wasnt notified by them about any changes so far, so I will keep my fingers crossed.
I was contemplating the MSD one also, but Ive heard some bad things about them...so Im staying away for now.

That's what my guys told me, alot of the newer MSD products had problems (including their injectors, cough cough) so a bunch of stuff was recalled and the replacements might not be available yet.
I told them I wasn't going to be making money on these so I don't want to sell them if I'm going to have to return them all when they crap out

Re: GM's 3bar map has been replaced? (Hatchblack)
a little OT but related to the 3 bar map sensor...
i was looking at the 3 bar map install on hondata's websight but my map sensor voltage seems a little different
1st wire is 5.2 volts, 2nd wire is 4.8, and the 3rd is .3 volts
so the 4.8volts would be the map signal right?
