im going to get a 1990 honda crx si. i wanted to know what kind of engine i should go with for some major speed .

Well the best choice would be a fully built b20/vtec. But it all depends on what you want to spend. I would definately reccomend some B-series motor though. They will have more power, torque and a lot more aftermarket support. Prices vary a lot depending on the engine your looking at. Do a lot of research before you go buying a motor though.
