Default Getting jrsc si ready for tune

ok so i am taking my jrsc 99 civic si in for tuning on wednesday and want to make sure i have everything taken care of. I installed rc440 injectors and hondata s300 and when i started it up. The car runs very rich on my wideband and the motor runs terrible were it cuts in and out. Im guessing thats because the car is not tuned for the 440 injectors? also is it ok that it doesnt run good when i take it to get tuned? Will the tuner be able to get the right a/f ratio with the motor running that bad? Thanks for the help

I recommend to put the stock injectors and install your 440 injectors before tuning.

take the injectors out until you go in the get tuned, your fuel tables need to be rescaled for the larger injectors.

well i going to be driving it until i get tuned so am i safe to leave the 440 injectors in and trailer it to tuning?

Put your Stock Injectors back in, you shouldn't be driving it at all untuned.
Atleast with the stock ones you can drive it low rpms without boosting.

Bottomline- Do not drive the car with the 440s until you are tuned, whatever you do with this information is up to you.

Does this sentence mean that you WILL or WILL NOT be driving the car with the 440 injectors until after the tune? You mention that you will trailer the car to the tuner. That's a very good plan. However, as others have mentioned, do not drive the car with the 440s installed. You will wash down the sleeves/rings with the extra fuel being injected, and the lubrication of those rings will be compromised, leading to you needing to replace the rings, and re-hone the cylinders.

Your tuner will certainly be able to get your car running correctly with what you have done. If not, you should not be going there for tuning.

What i did was leave my stock injectors in, tie open the bypass valve and drove to my tuner at churches, once there i installed my injectors and fuel pump and rolled her in and tuned it. hit 285hp at 12psi.

if you have hondata s300 you should be able to put a basic basemap that hondata has for a b16 jrsc with 440's. if not then just do what wunfstgsr suggested.

Also u need to run a vacuum line from one of the vacuum ports on the supercharger to the Throttle body mounted MAP sensor. You map sensor will not see boost if you leave it in the stock location.
