getting hot, but not overheating?

the car seems like its running really hot, but the temp gauge is at the normal recomended level.

heres my cooling system-

-dual core half radiator
-oem fan
-60/40 (water/coolant)

i was wondering, would water wetter help?

The temp gauge is normal? Why do you think your car is running hot then?
