Gear based boost controllers?
We have been using the innovative gear based controller for a while now. It works good for controlling the boost but we havent set up the gear based part yet. you can set it up on a button, or on the clutch or shiftlight which is nice. they have a brand new version out that also runs a quick diagnostic on all connections and hardware. it also does boost over time. so you can set it to switch and certain times to the 1000th or 100th of a second.
What about:
Blitz SBC i-D Boost controller
Blitz Power Meter i-D v.2
i think the blitz will do it if you have the power meter.

Look at the price of that combination. That is alot of money to just achieve the gear based boost controller function. If there was something basic, and ran 1/2 that price there would be a huge market. After talking it over with a EE major, its quite possible to do. I dont have the time this semester, but this summer i might tackle this.
I dont know if anyone posted this yet or not but I just quickly skimmed through them all to see and didnt see it....Overboost has an article out about the MSBC-1 from Innovative Turbo Systems.... http://overboost.com/whats_hot.asp?id=92
Since i am in the market for one right now, I am just going to try and but one of those. I guess i can dissect it and see what they did to make the thing. Anyone a dealer for them on this site? There has to be a better price than 660.00 on the controller.
I dont understand why you would spend 745.00, when you can spend 660.00 (retail) on the innovative turbo boost controller. Its far superier to the blitz. I am talking about introducing a boost controller in the 200-250.00 range. That is easily a third of the price of the competition.

This is Greddy's new boost controller...cheaper and nicer than the blitz unit.
you can also deduct the money and time put into boost gauge b/c it's built in.
