Okay so I'm putn turbo kit on my h22a4. Lovefab shorty t3/04e.....and all the gaskets for bov, manifold-turbo, downpipe that stuff i dont have. I got a sheet of gasket paper and started making my own...which seem like they would work. Then i found a website that has all of them but they are metal gaskets...wouldl this make a diff or will my paper ones work? help me please thanks

Re: gasket question??? (gdrum)
The gasket paper won't last long at all. You should just get the high temp gasket sheet which has metal on both sides. I think I paid $18 for a 12" X 24" sheet... WAYYY better for what your doing. A thin copper sheet is even better if you want to make your own. Both are very inexpensive and labor intensive (compared to buying gaskets).
oh and if you find some copper sheet stock you will want to anneal it so it will soften and conform to the surfaces better. Just heat it with a torch for a little while.
