This whole U.S. VS. Jap car debate is such crap. I bet more than half of the users of this site have an American car in there garage or driveway. I hate both sides of you dumbasses that say American cars are crap and Jap cars are crap. I bought my wife a 2003 CRV and i love that damn thing. And i'm currentl working on my fully built ZC in my 91 hatch. But i also drive a 95 GMC Sonoma 4X4 and my work truck is an 89 Chevy 1500. I just bought the work truck, but i've had my Sonoma for 5 years now and that ****** has never had anything go wrong with it. It just went over 120,000 about a week ago and it asks for more punishment. So it's not who makes the car, it's who owns the car. Any car will turn to **** if it's not properly taken care of with regular maintenance. So all you haters just shut ur damn yaps, we're all tired of hearing it!!!

It's so true! Not a whole lot of american car manufactureres have made small displacement/high output engines.. Of course now you have the PT cruiser turbo Neon SRT-4 Etc..

Or like the 800 HP Ecotec drag car... I have a friend saying they kept FOUR identical race engines ON HAND (at the track!) Because they grenade them quite often. :\

 

who ever wrote that is ******* retarded, comparing the HP that Honda makes to V8's and turbocharged 4 cylinders. There is no domestic 4 cylinder that can make the HP Honda makes with the reliability that Honda offers. Those turbo charged 4 cylinders that he talks about have got to be the biggest **** boxes ever, They **** out oil from everywhere they can, the intake manifold fills up with more oil than the pan holds, I mean be real. He must have been beaten by alot of the almighty VTEC engines to have become such a hater, or maybe hes just upset Ma's ole Civic
