full boost setting
i am way new to this still so sorry if my question is dumb, i want to see full boost in my car at 4000 to 4500 rpm and was looking at the peakboost kit. wouil it be a good choice, any suggestions? also what is the lowest you can run boost for the dd so that it doesnt really cut your engine life short? thanks
Stock motor I would not push more then 7psi on a good tune for maximum life. 9-10 at the track every once and awhile is ok.
Now you can obviously push more then that, but the more you boost the lower your motors life expectancy is.
Oh, I have GSR cams and Toda gears FS if your are interested

but what about when the full boost kicks in?? will the peak boost kit work for the area i want to see full boost? also when i boost the engine it will most likely be a built gsr block for boost and the head will have gsr cams and proablably spoon cam gears. with some other stuff. oh and thanks for the gsr cams, but my bad i forgot to take it off my sig and im kind of sticking to spoons but thanks again.

It's not just the kit. Its the TURBO in the kit on your engine that determines that. Make sure you also compare your cams to make sure there isn't to much overlap. The same principles that apply to N/A motors do not necessarily apply to boosted motors at all.
