Default fuel woes!!!!!!!!!

i have a 00 GSR with a drag gen3, before i bought the turbo i had a JRSC so i still have the walbro/jr intank fuel pump in, i put the drag inline pump on anyways thinking that a lil extra fuel is safe, but instead its runnin lean as hell, ive checked the FMU hoses time and time again, ive even added 50% more fuel across the board with my VAFC, and still lean, no matter what i do when i go into boost above 6k my air/fuel ratio gauge goes all red and my car starts bucking and popping, like its blowing the flame out of the plug,
any help would be greatly appreciated,
jonathan

put your stock intank back in, keep the drag inline.

does anyone know how much a stock intank is, i bought my car wit h the jrsc already on it , and the owner didnt give me the stock one, nor did he give me the stock intake manifold , so i had to drop 700 bucks on a sheetmetal intake before i could sell the charger

OH no! This isn't good. I had a nitrous setup with a 255lph Walbro intank. I sold the nitrous kit and now have a turbo kit (walbro still intank). I don't understand why they can't work together??? could you explain cause if this is true i will have to get a stock pump also.

are you sure you have the pump oriented right? i remember some people installing the fuel hoses backwards and having fuel issues. The inline will actually be trying to pull fuel out of the rail and back towards the tank

I would check if the inline pump is installed correctly....u may have that reverse. There should be an arrow on the pump showing which direction the fuel is flowing. Hope that helps.

That's what I was thinking. When you first fire the car up in the morning it goes all RED, which is rich due too low water temp sensor readings and it is in Open Loop Mode.

I think you have too much fuel!

nah it goes
red=lean
orange=stoich
green=rich
, and i checked the inline pump , its installed right, any other ideas???
i heard that if the inline starts to outflow the walbro intank , that the walbro wont let it flow through, whereas a stock intank would??? is there any truth to that??

Make sure you have the wiring correct on the pump. Polarity does matter.

94gold and austrian - I hope that is true. From what I've heard, the walbro is more than efficient to supply volume but not pressure. That is why the inline is there to do both....supply fuel by volume and increase pressure. What I don't understand is that if I was spraying a 50 shot of nitrous while using the walbro 255lph intank and had no probs then why won't it work the same for turbo conditions. This is a good post that needs a lot of input, so if you no anyone that could help in this area send them a link to this thread. Thanks guys (cause I'm in the same boat)!!
