Default fuel system upgrades, and boost limits.

Hello, i have a couple of questions. My first question is, does anyone know the most psi i could run through a d15b1 on stock internals. Now my second question is, would stock fuel injectors from a d15b7 be up for the task of boosting my engine? i dont know what cc the injectors are, i heard around 270cc. thanks.

your stock injectors are DEFINENTLY not upto the task. Get some dsm 450s at least. The next flaw in your thinking is it isnt how much boost your motor can handle, its how much power it can handle. You could run 12psi through a little t25 and have no issues but if you tryed running that through a larger t3, youd have a glorified paper weight in your engine bay. You need to do alot of reading before you even consider boosting or else your gonna blow your **** up. Go to homemadeturbo.com and read through teh noob sections

about 6-10psi is good, manifold, turbo, oil lines, aftermarket bov or a 1stgen BOV, IC piping, tap hole into oil pan, or you can take out the oil drain plug and use that to put your line to, intercooler will make it safer or if dont have it you can run without it but now as safe, either a FMU with the stock 240 injectors with missing link, check valve, or best way get some dsm 440's or 450's put -40 across board and it will be good you be good 6-10psi should be safe, if not gonna upgrade internals right now a thicker head gasket starting at 80.00 up, some arp studs only if you wanted to get that which isnt that hard to replace, im running 10psi with 450's and safc2 and it works fine for right now, good luck though, you can try http://www.turbod16.com or http://www.homemadeturbo.com good luck man

^^^^This guy is an idiot
you can NOT use your oil drain plug as the location for your oil drain because your oil drain needs to be ABOVE the oil line, not at the bottom, by putting it at the bottom your turbo one be able to drain properly and you can kiss your seals good bye
