Default fuel management necessary

Is it necessary to get a stand alone fuel management. If I plan on boosting under 6 psi? For race use and normal driving condition.

dont go cheap. do it right the first time and you wont have to worry about upgrading it later but to answer your question just get the fmu to make it run good

you can do an fmu, or a vafc but if you whant it to last and run at its best its always a have to when it comes to engine managment.

Get Uber or Crome....they're free and if you have an OBD1 car, you're set!

I agree. Why half-*** the most important part of a boosted setup when you can do it for less money than an FMU or VAFC?

if you're going to half *** it, i'll pay shipping and you can send those parts my way so that they don't get wrecked needlessly....

Honestly tho, look into Uber and Crome.....its good stuff!!

I would go with crome if you do anything. Hondata is a waste of time in my opinion now. But if your shop/tuner only tunes hondata I would do that. Ditch the AFC, get a P28 ecu with a conversion harness. And you will be set.

Thanks everyone for your help. I 'm going with Hondata thats my only choice. I live in Wisconsin and the only shop around is King motorsports and they only deal with Hondata. The rest of the shops around here is crapy header and intake display shops. I read up on urban and i really like how it works. I really would like to go urban, but i probably wouldn't know what the hell I am doing. lol
