fuel injector question
i have recentley came upon some 450 rc injectors they come with 2 wires can i just cut my stock wires and hook the new injector wires up and itll be ok?
thanks
thanks

ok i just want to know if i can plug em em to my stock injectors. or should i wire in the cap they gave me with two wires??? both the wires are a solid black wtf? last step of my install, this is realy [freak]ing me up. thanks
Your injectors came with injector clips.
If your vehicle is obd0 or obd1, you can use the stock clips.
You should examine the part number on the injectors to determine if the injectors you bought are low or high impedance. Reason being, is you may have the wrong injector/resistor box configuration.
* Low impedance injectors require a resistor box or inline resistors.
* High impedance injectors do not require a resistor box.
* 92-00 Civics & 94-00 integras do not use a resistor box from the factory.
* Vehicles without a resistor box can have one installed, vice versa.

you have to cut the stock plugs and use the ones they gave
when wire them up the yel/blk wire must be on left side (pass-side) facing the bay of the car
and do one at a time so you want mess anything up
hope this helps

well it turns out they are way to big i thought of grinding down the plasstic but i dont know.....
what a waste of money i minds well threw 100 out the window while driving thats how it is so i guess there for sale now if ne one wants them..

well today i ground down the injector i hope they dont leak. ??? but the seal fits in there tight. tomarow ill be wiring them up and hopefully up and running again.
It actually doesn't matter which way the wires go as far as each injector. There is a yel/blk wire for each injector and a unique solid color wire going to each injector, the only thing that matters is that the solid color wire stays on the injector it came off of. So they can be hooked up either way as long as they are on the correct cylinder, A great reason to do them one at a time and don't mix them up.
And as far as the guy grinding on the injector...HORRIBLE idea, the RC injectors are not made to fully fit inside the seal, the smaller part goes inside the ring, and the other part pushes against the seal and seals, when the fuel rail is tightened and presses the injectors against them.
That is all

5 year old thread.....
And the issue of impedance was never mentioned (like it matters now) but when most people say 450s they mean DSM blue tops. Whicb are low impedance peak and hold injectors. OBD2 Honda's have high impedance saturated injectors, requiring a resistor box to be installed.
Now if you have a standalone ecu like an AEM EMS then resistance doesn't matter but since the majority of people use a Honda ecu based tuning solution a resistor box is needed
The other unkown is did the OP have a way of compensating for the larger injectors, as a stock ecu won't even bd able to idle them
But again rather pointless because this thread IS 5 YEARS OLD and most people know all of this info already
