Default forged pistons slap ?

Hello everybody got a quick question do forget pistons slap all times or there's a problem with the engine built

mine (in the GSR) do when the engine is cold, after warm its pretty quiet. this is with Wiseco's. i have heard worse piston slap with JE's but that may have been related to the build.

The P/W clearance would be a factor also, some pistons call for more/less than others. and some builders like to use more clearance to allow for more expansion and this could be some of the sound.

but in general some slap is normal/acceptable with forged pistons.

hell my Camaro does it and its got stock pistons.

if it sounds like a 83 Powerstroke that isn't good though.

How did you troubleshoot this piston slap that you are not sure is piston slap please.
